Kellick scores pair of Top-5 finishes in Spooky 50 at Super Bee Speedway
In his final weekend of racing in 2023, Tanner Kellick made the short trip to Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Spooky 50 with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
Among 25 Late Models at the track, Kellick laid down the seventh-fastest lap in his group before gaining one spot in his heat race to finish runner-up. For the weekend's $5,000-to-win opener, Tanner fell outside of the Top-5 but rallied to land inside the Top-5 in fourth.
With the field elevated to 27 entries on Saturday, Tanner once again placed second in his heat which placed him on the third row for the season finale. With a $10,000 payday on the line, Kellick ran as high as third before fading to fifth when the checkered flag flew.
